Planning and Facilities Services includes the Office of Energy Management, Facilities Management, Facilities Planning and Construction, Environmental Health and Safety, Planning Research and Policy Analysis, and Enterprise Data and Analytics.
The Office of Energy Management is responsible for the procurement and distribution of utilities for Illinois State University. The Office also is responsible for the operation, improvement and repair of mechanical systems in University facilities, the management of building control systems, and direction and coordination of sustainability initiatives.
Facilities Management is responsible for maintaining University buildings and grounds, property control, central receiving, and central stores. Facilities Management also is responsible for providing parking and transportation options for the University community.
Facilities Planning and Construction is responsible for facilitating the planning, design and construction of facilities consistent with the campus master plan – Master Plan 2010-2030: Looking Forward.
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) group serves as the campus advocate for environmental health and safety issues. EHS also is responsible for University emergency planning and management.
Planning, Research and Policy Analysis (PRPA) provides information, analysis, and planning support to assist in decision-making that advances the mission of the University. The office coordinates and facilitates University planning and reporting processes and provides consistent and accurate compliance and management data internally and externally.
Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) leads the University’s work in developing and maintaining a business intelligence environment providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decision making.
